American Medical Response - AMR is charging my insurance above and beyond

My son is in college in Santa Barbara. He has epilepsy and the school has called 911 three times. AMR has received 100 % of charges from my insurance company but they continue to bill me. My insurance has paid them more than what is reasonable and customary and more than the original bill and today I get a letter saying my bill has gone to collections. They are a terrible company to work with.

American Medical Response - What a scam.

I was charged $800. For a 2 mile ride to the hospital. If i knew they would have charged me $800, I would have walked. Im homeless in Seattle and trying to get on my feet. This is a scam. Now its in collections. I'm totally disgusted.

My wife had a seizure on thanksgiving and the hospital the the emergency ambulance (911) took us to did not have a neurologist that she could see. Because of that, we had no option to drive ourselves to the nearby hospital (THUS SAVING $1600) but instead was forced to...
